Electrolytic zinc plating:
Electrolytic zinc plating applies a thin layer of zinc using an electric current, protecting the steel against corrosion. It is a uniform and aesthetic finish, suitable for applications where precision and a good visual finish are required, but with less environmental exposure. The treatment is suitable for slender parts, since they will suffer less deformation than with hot-dip galvanising, as the zinc is deposited at relatively low temperatures. It is also an ideal finish as a base for subsequent lacquering.
